Preschool Storytime at Flyleaf Books

This event takes place each and every Friday from 9:45 – 10:15 am . Amy Godfrey a former Durham County librarian leads this great storytime. Babka and Challah is served for a morning snack. This is a great musical,and energetic storytime. For parents Yoga is offered at 10:30 after the storytime with childcare provided. The location is Levin JCC 1937 West Cornwallis Road Durham, NC. “The Beautiful Beast”
Offered up by the Forest Theater this performance take a look at those Monsters and Beasts that folktales and our dreams bring to life. Using Giant Paperhand Puppet Intervention this will be the 17th pageant for all ages! The show begins at 7:00 pm with a pre-show at 6:20. Enter into a magical world called Cirque Italia that is an extraordinary traveling water circus. 35,000 gallons of water with a magnificent lid that lifts into the air 35 feet. Knightdale Kid Festival (K-Fest)
This is a great festival that features many local non-profits, and cultural arts opportunities that help connect youth with these venues. Offered will be a student talent showcase, food trucks, local performers and inflatables. Also offered will be a bookmobile and reading corner for kids to enjoy. Raleigh Greek Festival
Come join us! For the 35th Annual Greek Festival! This event is fun-filled for the entire family. Greek folk dancing, live music, and of course all the traditional Greek cuisine for your dining pleasure. A marketplace will be featured and so much more. Magic Youth Raleigh
Located at The Magic Corner Magic Shop Children from ages 7-17 can take part in this hands on magic workshop. You have an opportunity to learn about theatrical magic from the masters of the craft. this event takes place each second and fourth Saturday of the month and details are available at www.RaleighMagicClub.org.
